Understand what getting here involves, because it is the hard part. Kel-Suu is under 100 km from Naryn but five to eight hours each way, almost all of it rough track, and you need a high-clearance 4x4 with a driver who knows the route; the final approach includes a river crossing that rain can close. The whole valley sits inside a restricted border zone, so a permit is mandatory — CBT Naryn is the most citable source at around EUR 30 per person for the Naryn region with about a week's lead time, but published prices and timings vary wildly between agencies, so allow two weeks. Getting there

The first camp you reach descending into the Kel-Suu valley. Under 100 km from Naryn but 5-8 hours each way, almost entirely rough track once the asphalt ends; a high-clearance 4x4 with an experienced local driver is required, and there is a river crossing on the final approach that can be impassable after rain. A border-zone permit is required: CBT Naryn quotes about EUR 30 per person for Naryn region with roughly a week's lead time (two working days express), while other agencies quote anywhere from EUR 20 to US$120 and 2-10 working days. Budget two weeks and confirm directly with CBT Naryn.
