Meals are taken in a dedicated dining yurt with Kyrgyz and European cooking. The setting is the point: the Kara-Koyun gorge beside the stone caravanserai that sheltered Silk Road traffic here, roughly two hours from Naryn on the Torugart road toward China. Horse riding is bookable by the hour and the valley walks start at the door. Two things to note. Booking is by online form or email to Ak-Sai only, with phone requests explicitly not accepted. And the yurt count is quoted inconsistently as eleven or twelve, so confirm capacity if you are booking a group. No camp-specific altitude is confirmed; the caravanserai site itself sits at around 3,000 to 3,200 m. Season is June to September.
